Those of you who follow the development of the Cyberpunk 2077 game surely understand why this game that has very high hype ends up being a disappointment in the eyes of gamers. However, despite all that, this game is still able to stand as one of the best games in 2022. Even gamers who play it already have some requests that should be present in this world of the future.
5 Features Gamers Expect in Cyberpunk 2077
Although this game has been heavily criticized for being full of glitches and bugs, Cyberpunk 2077 can stand out as one of the best games in 2022. Here CDPR developers are trying their best to sell this game just in time.
Players who are still interested in this game have their respective requests to add to the playing experience. Most of these requests request the same changes. Ideally, CDPR will consider this in a future DLC. Then what features do players expect?
More Customization Features
Players have reported how playing as V can be a challenge in Cyberpunk 2077. Night City is a tough city, and players have to have an aura of intimidation to set them apart. Players expect CDPR to add more options regarding display and customization.
There are certain limitations in V customization in Cyberpunk 2077. As such, players will definitely want more autonomous equipment and access to several design variants in the character creation menu. In addition, players are also allowed to change their character’s appearance during in-game, after going through the initial character creation process.
This feature will make Cyberpunk 2077 much more immersive, as the improved design will help keep track of current events.
Increase Weapon Performance
Players have voted on issues such as bullet dynamics and the weapon mechanics system that almost all weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 experience. Most of the problems revolve around the ADS and Hip Firing systems.
From AR weapons to SMG weapons, even Pistols need a big buff in Cyberpunk 2077. CDPR needs to redesign the ADS time delay and shot accuracy system along with the aiming desync that is at least as natural as possible. The weapon mechanics also need to be changed significantly because players don’t really enjoy in-game weapon handling.
Loot, Inventory, and Purchase Mechanics
CDPR should introduce a system for players who wish to identify the armor and weapons they have purchased. For example, V had to wait until the weapon was in his hand in order to see the weapon’s specifications. This feature needs to be added without V having to buy the weapon or armor first.
Equally confusing is the loot and inventory system in Cyberpunk 2077. V can pick up various types of items and put them for future use. However, separating and replacing certain items can be frustrating. CDPR can add features that allow players to personalize items for proper use. Another thing that is requested by the players is a feature to buy various apartments in the Night City area.
Adding the apartment purchase feature will give V an additional fun story. As such, this feature should be an option, because the current feature doesn’t make protagonist V look charming.
Cyberwear, Apparel, and Cybernetic Prosthetics
CDPR needs to add some variety of the types of prosthetics that can be placed on the body. Currently, players are limited by a number of in-game cyber enhancements. Likewise, the clothes and cyberwear that players collect must have better dynamic. Most of these come with statistical armor, and continue to decline over time in Cyberpunk 2077. Unless the player spends a lot of time crafting new armor / armor, these items become useless.
CDPR should add dynamic that is easier for players to adapt to outfit customization in Cyberpunk 2077. Likewise, a few other variations for cybernetic enhancements won’t be bad.
Better NPCs in Cyberpunk 2077
Players have reported several instances where NPCs repeated their lines or forgot to complete an action. Likewise, the police at Cyberpunk are too vigilant. CDPR needs to balance and moderate the control and authority given to specific NPCs.
For example, adding more skills and autonomy to boss characters like Razor or Adam Smasher made sense. Likewise, the police in Cyberpunk 2077 should be moderated with better observation skills. In general, NPCs need a large amount of rework to present a truly immersive experience in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
